Folded is a closet that remembers what you own, and tells you what to wear with it.

Go to Closet → ＋ ADD, or tap Add your first piece on the Today screen. Photograph the garment or choose a photo from your library, then give it a name, a colour and a fabric. Lay the piece flat and fill the frame — it photographs best that way.
Pick from the palette, or tap the dashed ＋ swatch to mix your own colour and name it whatever you like. For fabric, choose a preset, use MIX for blends such as 65% cotton, 35% linen, or CUSTOM to type anything at all.
Open the piece from your closet. Tap the colour swatch or the FABRIC panel to change either — both say EDIT. Last worn and Wears can be typed into directly, and WORE IT updates them for you in one tap.
Open it and tap Remove from closet, or press and hold its row in the Closet list. You will be asked to confirm. Removing a piece cannot be undone.
The Today screen proposes an outfit from what you own, taking the weather and today's calendar into account. Tap ↻ AGAIN for another suggestion, or WEAR THIS to log it as worn. If you have not granted location or calendar access, suggestions still work — they simply have less to go on.
Tap Ask for something else and type the way you would say it aloud: “something black for a warm night out”. Folded reads it as colour, fabric, weather and occasion, and answers with what your closet actually holds.
Build an outfit from a piece (Use in a look) or from a search (Dress me), name it, and save it. Saved looks live in the Looks tab and can be worn again in one tap.
For pieces you are eyeing but do not own. Add a photo, a link, or both, with a description and a price. Nothing here counts towards your closet until you add it properly.
Closet → SHARE sets your wardrobe as a receipt — every piece, its colour, fabric and wear count — and shows it to you before anything is sent. Tap Send to a friend to share it by message, mail or AirDrop.
Settings → Back up my closet creates a zip holding a spreadsheet of every piece plus all of your photographs, then hands it to the share sheet so you can save it to Files, iCloud Drive, or email it to yourself.
Please back up. Folded keeps everything on your phone and nothing on our servers. That is good for privacy, but it means deleting the app deletes your closet permanently, and it will not reappear on a new phone. Export a backup every so often, and before you change devices.
Folded asks for the camera and photo library when you add a piece, location for the weather, calendar for today's plans, and notifications for reminders. All are optional and the app works without them. To change your mind later, open iOS Settings → Folded.
Check iOS Settings → Folded and confirm Camera and Photos are allowed.
Folded uses your location for local conditions. If location is denied it falls back to a default, so suggestions will not match the day. Allow location in iOS Settings → Folded.
Reminders need notification permission. Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Folded, then set the reminder again in Folded's settings.
A colour or category filter may still be applied in the Closet tab. Tap ALL, and tap the selected colour swatch again to clear it.
